The current two-million-square-foot expansion at the Brooklyn Navy Yard has led the business park to introduce new transportation options that will start operating this spring. Shuttle service linked to 13 subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road will be free to Yard tenants, staff, and guests. Already the workplace for thousands of workers who can benefit directly from such new commuting offerings, Brooklyn Navy Yard is also the future home of Dock 72. According to Brooklyn Navy Yard president and CEO David Ehrenberg, “This transportation plan will provide the Yard’s growing workforce with direct access to all corners of the city.
